Batik Technique
|
Stamp your
image with a tinted embossing ink onto a piece of white Mulberry
Paper. Bold lined or solid stamps work best. Emboss with clear
powder. Place paper on a waterproof surface and lightly mist with
water. The wetter the mulberry the softer your colors will be. Using
a wet paintbrush, paint the whole piece of Mulberry Paper with 2-3
colors of re-inker. Let dry. Hold your heat gun at a distance of
about 12 inches for best results. Iron the Mulberry Paper with an
iron on medium-high setting, between sheets of plain copy paper, to
remove the clear embossing powder. Peel quickly. Adhere the Mulberry
Paper to cardstock using Bonding Memories® glue. Roll with a
rubber brayer to remove wrinkles. |
