Eager for Eyelets You've seen them in all the magazines and love how they look, but now that they're in front of you how exactly do you use these nifty little things? Choose the exact spot for your eyelet and then position your Hole Punch on this spot and tap with the hammer. Place the eyelet in the resulting hole and then turn everything over so that the backside is facing you. Fit the Eyelet Setter into the back of the eyelet and tap the tool with the hammer to secure the eyelet. If the eyelet is still raised, simply flatten it by using the hammer directly on the eyelet. Keep in mind that silver and gold eyelets take more hammer power and coloured eyelets may need a cloth to keep the paint from scratching. Eyelets are versatile and can be grouped into a shaped accent or backed with a rainbow of colours for an intriguing border. The possibilities are endless!!
