Black and White Photo Tinting Supplies: Black and White Photos Exclusive Inks™ Markers (Lighter colors work the best) Buy a roll of Black and White film and practice taking pictures. Outside photos work the best. Dress your subjects in basic clothing without too many patterns and prints. Denim works very well. For added interest a simple props such as a flower, a ball, a puppy or a wagon. Both glossy and matte photos work well. Play around with them and see what you like the best. 1. First choose the focal point of your photo. For example, this may be something like a denim shirt. 2. Choose one Exclusive Inks™ marker and color directly on the photo. Our Exclusive Inks™ Markers are acid free so they won't damage your photos. Please apply sparingly and then blend with a cotton applicator. Remove all the excess ink off the photo as carefully as you can. 3. Remember, don't add too much color. The main goal is to tint and highlight particular areas on the photo so that a natural accented beauty will shine through just like the professional tint jobs you've seen. Back
